Aquatrol AQ2000 Series Controls Are Easy to Install, Easy to Use
MINNEAPOLIS, September 28, 2006 –Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today launched a revolutionary new series of hydronic controls designed to significantly reduce installation time and simplify the control of hydronic heating systems.
"Honeywell's Aquatrol AQ2000 Series controls are designed to keep system installation, commissioning and troubleshooting simple," said Andrew Hulse, vice president, Honeywell Water Solutions.
The AQ2000 series provides installers with easy yet powerful control of even the most complex systems. "Using AQ2000 controls means that selecting the proper components for each of your systems has never been easier," said Honeywell Product Leader Andy Januszewski. "The AQ2000 selection tools are very user friendly and available both in print and online. By answering four easy system questions, you can quickly download the right configuration of controls for any job, including suggested piping and wiring diagrams, all with just a few clicks."
Honeywell's Aquatrol AQ2000 Series controls come "ready to use," and require a minimal amount of installer set-up. The AQ2000 controls come pre-programmed with the most commonly-used system settings, while expansion panels provide contractors and designers with system design flexibility. With the AQ2000 Series Zoning expansion panels, you can control up to 16 zones.
"Best of all, the AQ2000 controls work with 2-wire communicating thermostats, making retrofit jobs easier to install -- and impossible to wire backwards," added Januszewski. "In fact, the AQ1000TN2 communicating thermostat's enhanced communications capabilities mean the entire system runs more efficiently."
