Haier's Products Goes Up in Oversea Market

Wen Jiabao, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee, the Premier of the State Council, and Wu Yi, member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of the State Council, visited the exhibition area of Haier Group at Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair.

15th October, the 100th Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF) opened in Guangzhou. About 40 thousands enterprises participated in this Fair hitting the record high. After attending the opening ceremony, Wen Jiabao, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee, the Premier of the State Council, and Wu Yi, member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of the State Council, visited the exhibition area of Haier Group at CECF and gave high evaluation to the U-home series products and the marketing mode of "complete set of household appliances": "Haier's products have gone up in oversea market."
Premier Wen Highly Appreciated Haier's Innovated Products

At this CECF, Haier Group exhibited 14 series and 236 types and sizes of innovated products with a general theme of "U-home". At the same time, Haier Group put forward the new marketing mode of "complete set of household appliances". Premier Wen and Vice Premier Wu rated this high. When seeing Haier's detergent-free washing machine, Premier Wen said: "I know this product. It can work without detergent and is environmental-friendly. This is very important!"On seeing a big refrigerator with four doors, Premier Wen asked: "Is this for exporting to USA? Is it developed by Haier itself?" Vice Premier Wu had ever listened to Haier's CEO Mr. Zhang's report on this issue, she answered: "Yes." Premier Wen said with joy: "This product is very competitive. Haier's  products have gone up in oversea market!"

15th October afternoon, Premier Wu attended at "Seminar for Commemoration of 100th Guangzhou Fair". At this seminar, Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier, delivered a keynote speech on Haier's global strategy to the participants. After listening, Vice Premier Wu commented: "Comrade Ruimin considers that we should make Guangzhou Fair a platform for enterprises to create famous brands. I give affirmative appreciation to this idea."

Haier Group took part in every Guangzhou Fair since 1986, which reflected the successful innovation course of Haier Group: from nothing to existence, expanding from small to large, growing from weak to strong and going from China to the world. In the first three quarters of 2006, the total sales volume of Haier Group exported products and the products of Haier Group oversea factories reached 2.68 billion USD, almost the total annual volume of Haier Group of last year.

During this Guangzhou Fair, the programs of united news broadcasting and united economic information broadcasting of CCTV made focal-point report on the exhibition of Haier Group and the global strategy of Haier Group. The News Channel of CCTV also made special report on the U-home series, complete set of household appliances, detergent-free washing machine and other innovated products of Haier Group during the Fair.
